Our Mission
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those affected by mental illness and to support research to someday eliminate these illnesses.
We provide support, education and advocacy to those living with mental illness as well as their friends and family members.
NAMI Brown County is a local affiliate of NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness. As an affiliate, we are proud to offer NAMI’s signature mental health programs and to be part of its powerful nationwide voice for mental health advocacy.
While we are a proud member of the NAMI alliance, NAMI Brown County—like other NAMI affiliates—is an independent nonprofit organization and does not receive monetary support from NAMI.
NAMI Brown County works tirelessly to raise awareness and provide essential support, education, and outreach for individuals living with mental illness, their loved ones, and the community at large. Through the efforts of our dedicated staff and volunteers, we offer a wide variety of mental health programs that reach over 6,000 participants each year.
